Experience

We all think that we already knew what to answer, when to answer and how to answer things we never really experienced but witnessed. It's easy to say the right things to people than to say the right things to yourself. Maybe that's why we never really get to comfort ourselves with the right things.

I, for example, knew what I always wanted and deserved. But, just like any other girl who thought they knew what they're doing... I fell short and almost compromised what I truly wanted and needed. I knew there's a reason behind my shortcomings and I found these:

1. Paul said: "I don't want you to become part of something that reduces you to less than yourself." I use the NIV version most of the time and i felt like using the Message version and most shockingly, found the exact verse I never thought I'm looking for but found anyway. This made me cry to God and realized that I ran too far away from where He was. Picture a little child in a forest... I went too far and He found me.. yet again.

2. Paul again, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability".  This verse, always pops up when i always ask, "why me?"So.. Here Again.

3. Paul, the big brother for the 3rd time "Don't be so naive and self-confidet. You're not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; It's useless. Cultivate God-Confidence"
We believe in us so much and thus, realizing how useless our strength is ALONE.

These made me through this week (& sincerely hope for the weeks to come) and i hope this post reminds you of how much God values you as a princess (or a prince). We all fell short of who we should be but it doesn't change the fact that His Grace will always be there. Our strength may fail us, but His Grace is immeasurable.  :)

Dimmed.

Christians aren't perfect.

People say we enclose ourselves inside rules and make no mistakes. But following Christ does not make as superheroes, we are not powered by a lantern or a suit, nor weaken-ed by a kryptonite.

We are still human... our strength runs out every day but we know that God will always fulfill His promise of providing strength through Him; that even if we make MISTAKES, He will still be there to wipe away THE GUILT, BRING NO condemnation and forgive us of our sins; that even if all people turn away from us He will still be there.

It's amazing how God can be so Understanding and how we can be so one-sided.
it's amazing how wonderful His merices are and how opposite we can be.

But He took our transgressions and forgave us despite such. Even gave us free salvation He paid with His own life.
